A couple of competitors are starting to have mechanical problems so there may be some attrition.
We’re moving north and west to get to our ultimate destination, Santander. Today our course even took us through Portugal for a few miles.
Observation: I continue to be fascinated with the Storks and their gigantic nests. We must have seen hundreds of these nests.
Most storks mate for life and both help to take care of the little storks. The pair return to the same nest each year and build and repair the nest for a new generation of birds. A very cool piece of nature.
The weather was great today, but forecasts suggest it may rain for the rest of the week….bummer.
